「華人民間電影集資計劃」短篇作品選 Chinese Independent Filmmaking Fundraising Project Works Selection

2012年1月開展的「華人民間電影集資計劃」，鼓勵民眾直接以捐款合資作為創作者的獨立短片的製作成本，更希望凝聚一眾渴望為本地影像、為社會帶來變更的創作人和觀眾。此作品選映部份邀請了三位香港年青獨立電影導演盧鎮業、林森、陳浩倫參與，並出席映後談，分享民間集資推動獨立影片製作的果實。此選映部份門票收益扣除成本後將撥捐「華人民間電影集資計劃」。

The “Chinese Independent Film Fundraising Project (CIFFP)” has been established in January 2012 to promote the work of young filmmakers. Funds raised through the project will allow each artist to produce a short film as an alternative to enrich the scope of local films. The Selection features the resulting works of three young indie filmmakers in the Project: Lo Chun Yip, Lam Sam and Chan Ho Lun. All ticket sales after cost in this Selection would go to CIFFP.

大綱 Synopsis

近年來，香港城市發展的速度，就有如高速鐵路般一直飛奔。舊區如深水埗、大角咀、觀塘等地區首當其衝，都變成地產商、發展商的淘金地。大眾媒體所報導的往往只著重數字，但其實對一個舊社區來說，如今這種急速的重建步伐，所影響的除了數字外，還有生活在其中的人。

故事中的十歲新移民暉仔與母親成功申請來港，與繼父一家三口在深水埗一間狹隘的獨立套房裡居住。一次街上的偶遇，暉認識了在香港的第一個朋友，巴基斯坦裔的簡志文，兩人迅成為好友。可是，剛萌芽的友誼卻將受到舊區重建的影響，面臨考驗… 乘著高速的「發展號」列車，我終究會否一去不返？

Fai, a ten-year-old boy who’s a new immigrant from mainland China, he lives in a narrow suite with his mother and his step-father. The stepfather loves gambling; the mother works long hours and is seldom at home, Fai vaguely has the idea of “family”. One day, he met a Pakistani boy Khan, who was born and raised in Hong Kong. Khan, as a local, shown Fai of his new home and brought him to family dinners. However, while the friendship is building up, Khan’s family has to move out of the community because of the city redevelopment and the rising property cost. The city seems lonely and helpless for everyone. The only thing Fai wants to do is to bid Khan farewell, the only connection between this city and him.

關於導演 Director’s Biography

林森，生於1985年7月12日，香港人。熱愛電影、音樂及參與社會運動。畢業於香港演藝學院電影電視學院導演系，現職自由錄像工作者。錄像作品包括紀錄片《 人在皇后》 (2007)、《夢裡遊》 (2008)、《夜以作日》(2009)，及畢業作品《暉仔》(2011)。現正拍攝紀錄片《始於足下》(入圍Cnex 2011年度華人紀錄片提案短片組)，並創作「華人民間電影集資計劃」短片《一路走來》。

Lam was born in 1985. A Hongkongese who loves movies, music and social activities. Graduated from the School of Film and TV, The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, specializing in directing, he now works as an independent short film/documentary filmmaker. His works focus mostly on social issues, including: Beyond the Queen (2007), Dream Tour (2008), Night for Day (2009), Drifting (2011).

大綱 Synopsis
故事圍繞2010年香港「5.16補選公投」而展開。一個面臨高考的中學生，同時是「補選公投」的年青義工，課餘時間收聽民間電台非法廣播的節目、重溫8964和各式時事片段。投票日在即，但身邊人對他響應公投的種種行逕大加反對：學校裡，老師迴避「敏感」政治話題，校長乾脆直接打壓男主角在學校派發公投單張；家中，媽媽和姊姊全不瞭解，客廳電視箱發出的，盡是娛樂節目的哈哈笑聲；朋友和戀人都搞不清楚主人公何以熱心公投，只覺他輕重不分而未盡考試溫習的本份……在2010年的春夏之交，烈日當下，卻是一位年輕公民在日常生活中所面對的孤獨，與盼望……

The story is built on the 5.16 referendum held in Hong Kong and probably the last. Some people want to grasp the chance to directly participate in the democratic process. They try in various ways to push for greater democracy in society so that the people can become emancipated.

關於導演 Director’s Biography
盧鎮業， 生於1986年，2011年畢業於香港城市大學創意媒體學院，專注於錄像創作，作品包括《打還打．唔好打頭、《春夏之交》、《那年．春夏之後》、《淹沒》，及最新紀錄片作品《那年春夏．之後》(入選「香港獨立電影節2011-12」及「三十六屆香港國際電影節」)。現正創作「華人民間電影集資計劃」短片《金妹》。在這文過飾非的年代，願見一步走一步，能拍多少是多少。

Lo Chun-Yip, also know as Siuyea (小野), was born in 1986, is a 2011 graduate from the School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong. From 2008 onwards, he has directed several short films, such as Deep In Mind, 21 Years After, To Be Continued and the latest Days After and Coming, an official selection of HKIndieFF 2011-12 and The 36th Hong Kong International Film Festival.

大綱 Synopsis
家住中產屋的阿強（父）想以「買樓收租」維持安穩生活，以為「香港無死人，只有窮人，只有股票跌，人工跌，樓價永遠唔會跌 」是香港人的金科玉律。他在金融海嘯前，錯信地產經紀兼死黨阿華賣樓失利而破產，與玉薇（母）、Iris（女兒）舉家搬到深水埗天臺屋後．玉薇每天工作十四小時、Iris­在同學面前隱瞞基層身份。社工告訴阿強，公屋申請人要有「自殺傾向」才獲恩恤安置。面對殘酷的社會、沒良心的政府和窄小的居住空間，三人才明白「金科玉律」，其實是「香港­惡夢」，幾番聲淚俱下，破口大罵。他們在委屈求存的環境下想起阿華的金句「一個自己住、一個租出去，收租等於幫你供樓」，才明白以「買樓收租」這種經濟炒賣活動來維持安穩­生活，實情是七百萬人遙不可及的「空中樓閣」。

Keung (Father) is a Hong Kong middle class who wants to maintain s stable life through earning money out of rental property, as he believes the property market in Hong Kong will remain stable. Keung went bankrupt after the financial tsunami as he mistakenly trusted his best friend Wah and bought a flat at the peak of the market. After moving to the rooftop house in Sham Shui Po with his wife and daughter, the family starts facing challenges and difficulties that they have never expected. Mei (Mother) working 14 hours per day to earn a living; Iris (Daughter) feeling embarrassed to disclose her life as a grassroots to her friends; Keung having difficulty in seeking help for his application of public housing. After experiencing the brutality of society, they have come to the realization that the “stable life” they pursued was merely a fabrication of capitalism; and dream of earning money out of economic speculation is reachless.

關於導演 Director’s Biography
陳浩倫，今年28歲，2006年畢業於嶺南大學文化研究系，獨立影片導演，曾任職香港電台《頭條新聞》節目編導，獨立影片作品有《反高鐵運動之傳媒透視》（65分鐘紀錄片，2009年製作）、《見貧不見窮》（26分鐘劇情紀錄片，2011年製作）、《公投收皮！》（10分鐘政治劇情短片，2010年製作）、《反高鐵劇場之吹雞》（2分鐘政治劇情短片，2010年製作）。現正創作「華人民間電影集資計劃」短片《美好生活》。

Fredie Chan, 28 years old, a first-honored graduate of Cultural Studies in Lingnan University and was a program director of a famous program Headliner in RTHK. Now he is an independent film director. His independent works include: Good Luck, Comrades! (2009); Media Digest on Anti-Express Rail Link Movement (2009); Die! Referendum! Die! (2010); Loft In The Air (2012).
