理念 Concept
Good Night可以用來叫人早抖，同時可以是一句親切的晚安。邁向回歸後的第十五個年頭，從人權、自由、法治總總來看，香港無可否認漸漸步入了黑暗。黑暗過後會是晨曦，還是從此一沉不振，在同一個時空氛圍之下，三個本地年青導演對現況的回應展現了截然不同的態度和視野。

In Cantonese “Good Night” can be evil greeting. In the areas of human rights, freedom and justice, the city of Hong Kong is heading slowly to darkness in the 15th year since the Handover. Three young local directors have responded to the reality with distinct attitude and vision — they have their own answers towards the post-darkness era.

大綱 Synopsis

這資訊繁多卻狹隘統一的年代，我們接觸千萬個符號，但都指向單一的生活模式，構成所謂的社會主旋律。往往被高舉的務實客觀是悖論，不曾存在，主觀個體無從對話。權力擴大某方聲音，淹沒他者。

我們享有高度言論自由，就是沒能力/沒辦法互相聽見。

After losing his son in the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests, a disillusioned old man chooses to stay silent and block out the noises of political bickering in the city. After all, nothing anyone does ever seem to make any difference. With the quick deterioration of freedom in Hong Kong, how much longer can the old man choose to stay silent before the oppressions becomes too much? Amidst the noises from all sides, which side should be listened to?

關於導演 Director’s Biography

盧鎮業，生於一九八六。畢業於香港城市大學創意媒體學院，主修電影藝術。2010年開始拍攝一系列短片作品《打還打，唔好打頭》、《春夏之交》、 《那年 . 春夏之後》 及《淹沒》，從社會出發，一直追逐/探問。2012年完成首部長片作品《那年春夏 .之後》，獲邀參加香港獨立電影節及第36屆香港國際電影節。在這文過飾非的年代，願見一步走一步，能拍多少是多少。

Lo Chun Yip, also know as Siuyea (小野), was born in 1986, is a 2011 graduate from the School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong. From 2008 onwards, he has directed several short films, such as Deep In Mind(《打還打．唔好打頭》), 21 Years After(《春夏之交》), To Be Continued(《淹沒》). His latest work is Days After n Coming(《那年春夏．之後》)which has been screened on Hong Kong Independent Film Festival 2012 and DVD to be released in mid-August.

《三月六日》/6th March

大綱 Synopsis

三月六日，多個團體發起反財政預算案大遊行，晚上二百多人在皇后大道中靜坐。示威者被警方圍困後，突圍至德輔道中與雪廠街交界，以和平不合作形式阻塞馬路示威。警方嘗試衝擊示威者不果後，歷史性地以「非法集結」罪名拘捕一百一十三人，全部帶返北角警署。

由於口供房未能負荷，示威者被安排以小組形式於警署飯堂落口供。三個示威者與三個CID圍著飯桌坐著。蔣浩正一早已經讀畢手上的被捕人士權利指引，但他卻沒有抬頭。因為對面的CID是他哥哥。

警署的影印機壞了，他們無了期的等。漫漫長夜，除了呆坐以外，兩個陣形、六個不同立場背景的人，唯有開始談話。故事從這裡開始。

A protest against the government’s proposed budget brings six people together in a police station: Three exhausted policemen and three defiant protesters. Stuck in the canteen due to a broken copier, the two sides fight a verbal battle of ideas – the right to protest versus the public good, political ideal versus reality, and even the police as protector of the authorities versus the protector of the people. Who’s right? Who’s wrong? What is the true price of freedom in a city whose citizens are slowly losing it?

關於導演 Director’s Biography

黃進，城市大學創意媒體學院畢業，主修電影藝術。畢業後組成工作室Define Creations, 從事影像創作。短片作品包括：《Write》《休克同好會》《兩花生》及《三月六日》等。

Wong Chun graduated from school of Creative Media in the City University of Hong Kong majoring in Cinematic Arts.

大綱 Synopsis

2012世界末日要來了，我們可以做的，是良心發現後來個大悔改？等世界變好等人間見真情，卻發現到頭來真的只有癡癡的等。世界在運作，人性仍醜惡。混亂的社會，如何能在一時三刻撥亂反正？為民主抗爭、遊行，到底效用有多大？無論末日是否到來，我們能做的，可能就是哀歎良善之死。

A young girl who believes that the world will end in 2012 lives only for the present. Working in a bookstore, she spends her days on menial day-to-day tasks and sitting on a roof to anticipate the end of all things. One day, the bookstore owner tells the young girl that she can do more than just simply wait. In a world where the future appears bleak and hopeless, should we prepare for a painless end, or is it possible for us to stand up and make a change?

關於導演Director’s Biography

阮智謙，畢業于香港城市大學創意媒體學院，與夥伴成立創作單位Define Creations，以創作延續生活。

Yuen Chi-him is a graduate of the City University of Hong Kong’s School of Creative Media. He co-founded Define Creations, a creative unit that continues his journey of creativity with the help of his partners.
